Pumpkin Patch and Neighbourhood Party

A beautiful fall weekend found its way to us this past weekend so after our trip to the gym on Saturday morning we headed out to Winding Brook Farm to get some punpkins for Halloween.  It was not as exciting as Shady Brook Farm was last year but it got the job done.  Poor Lily could barely find one pumpkin she could lift and must have tripped on the vines about 10 times but she still had a great time running around trying to find the perfect pumpkin.  Rowan would have taken every pumpkin she could lift if we did not stop her! Rowan rode a pony, we went through a corn maze, and ended it with a little snack of funnel cake.

After we were done there we came home, changed the kids into their Halloween costumes and headed across the street to Tina's house for a Halloween Pot Luck Party.  It was a really good time.  The kids had a blast running around and playing in their costumes.  Fred set up a projecter screen in the front yard so the kids could watch movies when it got dark and Rowan had so much fun with McKenzie that she ended up spending the night there and they both wore their matching Halloween jammies.
