The Yellow/White Belt

Rowan had belt testing back on 7/22/10. She was eligible to move from her white belt to a white/yellow belt pending what they call a belt test. Every student who is eligible to move up belt colours meets one night a month and by class they do a group demonstration of what they have been learning and once successful there is a belt ceremony where they all get the next colour belt. It was a huge presentation and very fun to watch. Rowan was nervous because she did not know there would be as many people as there were but she got the job done and moved up. Congratulations Rowan we are very proud of you! Rowan's favourite part? The pizza they served afterwards.
