The Tooth Fairy Cometh

This is what happened in the middle of dinner last night - midbite Rowan stopped and said "Mommy look at my tooth"...then the freaking out began. After much debating and crying and carrying on, Rowan finally let Parker pull it out for her. I was nowhere to be found, I was trying to be brave but it was grossing me out so much I had to pretend I was taking care of Lily. Lily in fact did need taking care of because Rowan was so upset Lily was so upset. Once it was finally out and calmer heads prevailed Rowan was able to really smile and show off her new gap. We got the Tooth Fairy box out that Auntie Lori had bought Rowan a few years ago and got it all ready. Rowan did not want the tooth fairy coming into her room so we left it on the wall near the front door instead. This morning she woke up to quite the bounty. Apparently the first tooth is worth the most. So that's it - the tooth Rowan swore was loose for months, months(!) is finally out. One down, 19 to go. And just because we thought it was so funny...check this short video out...the tooth was out but Rowan was still hysterically upset about it, her anxiety was causing Lily anxiety as well.
