Where to start - seems like a lot to tell all of a sudden. First up....cute pics of the kids in their matching Little Sister, Big Sister shirts :)
Next - Fred (next door neighbour) built a soapbox racer that all the kids in the neighbourhood were all over...Rowan loved it when it was her turn.
This past Sunday my Uncle Joe was in Reading all weekend for a baseball tournament that his Eastern Ontario All Stars team had been invited to. He emailed to let us know they would be around so we could try and get together - after lots of emails back and forth it all came together on Sunday when they came by later in the afternoon, stayed for some dinner and then got a few hours of driving in before heading back to Trenton on Monday. It was great to see him and Sylvia who we had not seen since our wedding and we got to meet their grandson Austin who was an absolute doll, one of the politest 11 year old boys - ever. And when all was said and done, Rowan did the dishes!
Monday of this week was Columbus Day and while I would love to say my Italian heritage got me the day off the truth is it is the one day of the year when daycare is closed for training and my district is not so I had to take the day off. Once again the Fab 5, Rowan, Enaiya, Angela, Lily and I set out an adventure to keep the girls occupied that day - this time, Happy Tymes in Warrington - it was a little like Cosmic Adventures in Ottawa on a smaller scale but a fun time was still had by all - we took a break and went to Cheeburger Cheeburger for lunch and back to Happy Tymes for another hour before calling it a day - a long but fun day :)
Last but not least, as Lily is now taking steps - I have many pictures of her standing
But am having trouble getting her to walk on camera - what follows are her half hearted attempts (and mine) to get it on film.
