Christmas Outings

Last weekend was a busy one for all of us.  Friday night I went out with the girls from work for our annual Christmas dinner/gift exchange.  It was nice as always.

Saturday the four of us went to Peddler's Village.  We went in the afternoon so we could be there when the lights started to come on and once again they did not disappoint.  It really is so pretty up there all year but even more so during the holiday season.  After a little walking and some shopping we went for dinner at the Buttonwood Grill and called it a night.

Sunday a group of 20 of us when to Hershey Park.  You heard that right, 20 of us!  It was so much fun.  The park had a few rides open, no roller coasters much to Rowan's dismay but enough for all the kids of varying ages to ride.  There was a Christmas light show to music we stopped to watch and we all got our picture taken with Santa!

13 days and counting

'Til Christmas morning!!  My favourite day of the year.  We are a little behind this year in terms of decorating.  The outside was done the Sunday after we got home from Disney but the inside did not get done  until Monday night and last night but finally it is done!  We left the village downstairs this year and rearranged a few things including where we normally put the tree and I think it all turned out pretty good actually.
