My parents and two of my nieces, Abby and Jessica, came down to visit last week. They came on a Saturday and left on a Friday and left Jessica behind for the summer. Apparently she wanted to stay with us this summer! How cool is that? This is her first week alone in the house during the week and so far she has slept until 930am and 1030am yesterday! Oh to be a teenager again. We hit the pool on Sunday for the day and I took Tuesday off so we could go to Rices - of course it poured rain all that morning but we eventually headed out and took the kids to Peddlers Village and Giggleberry Fair. We did some playing, some lunching and some shopping so it was not a total loss that day!
We have some plans for when Jessica is here - she is going to go the pool a couple of times a week she thinks. We are going to try and take her and everyone down the shore next weekend (just for the day) and she and I are going to go see Twilight:Eclipse - whoo-hoo!
In other brief news - Rowan earned a red stripe in Karate last night! That means that this Thursday she goes for a belt test and will move up from a white belt to a white/yellow belt - exciting!!
And in other news because Parker and I are such music fans we have to make a special note that Rowan made an iTunes request for her very first album last night, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus - which she put on her iPod and boogied around to all last night :)

This, that and then some.
Where the heck have I been? Busy, busy busy! Summer is in full swing and the weather has not let us forget it for one day it seems. Hot, hot, hot! Been taking full advantage of our pool membership every chance we get.
First bit of news - Rowan got her ears pierced again. So far they are healing really nicely, hopefully they will stay that way!
Lets see what else....Well Rowan with her new summer camp program at daycare took her first field trip and they went on a tour of Citizens Bank Park. Seemed like a fun trip to go on so Parker went too! Then 3 days later she got to go back to the Park and see her first real Phillies game live - Joe, Parker and I went too. I predicted she would not get past the 2nd inning before she and I had to walk around, I was close but she only made it to the top of the 2nd! We played at the Phanatic Phunzone for awhile before I finally convinced her to go back to our seats and watch the game a bit. Of course, the Phillies lost - every time I go to a game they lose. It was still fun though and she got a "My First Phillies Game" certificate to keep.
The July 4th long weekend divided our family. Not in a bad way ;) Rowan and I went camping at Paul and JoAnn's place in the Pine Barrens and Parker stayed home with Lily. We talked about all of us going but Parker thought, and rightfully so, that Lily was just at that age where camping would be a very stressful situation as opposed to relaxing. Rowan and I had a great time, the weather was hot with not a cloud in the sky but we still roughed it in the tent. Went to Smithville for a little shopping and spent alot of time at the campground pool. We had a big crab feast on Sunday night and Rowan actually tried some. She said she didn't like it but she tried it 3 times so what does that mean? Went to bingo and had fun playing but didn't win - oh well, next time.
And now just some random picks because Lily has not been featured on here for a while so pics just for the heck of it!
Up next, my mom, dad and nieces Jessica and Abigail are coming for a visit this Saturday. They are staying through next Friday but Jessica is staying on with us for another month. Can't wait - should be a blast!
